The kitchen is tastefully decorated in a “contemporary native” style and utilizes an open-concept design ensuring even the masterchef can enjoy the Pacific view while preparing meals. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a large fridge/freezer, microwave, stove/oven, toaster, blender, and teapot. Enjoy brewing and sampling local coffee blends with ease in your home away!
Lounge in style after a day of adventure on the l-shaped sectional sofa, and plan adventures on the spacious coffee table. For guests that need to complete remote work or send emails, there is a separate designated desk space beneath the staircase.
When it is time to relax and rest for tomorrow’s adventures, you’ll enjoy the plush bedding in the upstairs semi-private master bedroom on the new king bed mattress, and box springs, and hardwood flooring, each of which was upgraded in 2023. On the main level, the second bedroom has two new twin bed mattresses, box springs, and carpeting.
Other condo features include an iPod docking station, Free Wi-Fi internet access, a 42” flat screen, free unlimited long-distance calling within the US and Canada, and an answering machine. Additional 2023 upgrades include repainting of the entire condo, new carpeting on the stairway, a new coffee table, a new living room sofa, and the chairs were recovered. This condo does not have air-conditioning.
Hale Mahina is two miles from Old Lahaina Town and a short walk to the local farmers market. Everyone will enjoy shopping at Whalers Village, whale watching poolside (in the winter), or firing up the BBQ for some ocean-view dining. Guests and residents enjoy the serene and quiet atmosphere at Hale Mahina; as such, group bookings are discouraged, and house rules are enforced.
Nearby Beaches to Hale Mahina:
1. Hale Mahina Beach: Private-like due to restricted access outside of the property line, sandy bottom, great for snorkeling, swimming, or sunning.
2. Honokowai Beach Park: Great for snorkeling due to the shallow, reef-protected beach, playground area, plenty of shade, tables, and BBQ grills.
3. Pohaku Park (S-Turns): calmer during summer months, sandy and rocky shoreline, and picnic tables.

Deposit Policy – To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 10% of the total room rate, fees, and taxes and a non-refundable $30 + tax reservation fee is required at time of booking. Final payment (remainder) is due 30 days prior to arrival. For all reservations made 30 days or less prior to arrival, full payment is due at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy – For cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival, a full refund will be provided excluding a $30 plus tax reservation fee and a $100 plus tax cancellation fee. If a cancellation is made 30 days or less to arrival (including no-shows), all monies collected will be forfeited.
Travel Insurance: Because your condo reservation is non-refundable once paid in full, it is highly recommended that the guest purchase Optional Travel Insurance. The cost of the coverage is 6.95% of the rent and taxes.
