Honu Kai’s centrally-located condo, B-16, offers plenty to explore across the island of Maui. Beaches, adventure, and beauty abound, but the best part of B-16 is returning home to an atmosphere akin to a tranquil, tropical treehouse. Though there are no elevators on the premises, a serene bedroom awaits on the condo’s second floor, complete with an A/C unit and comfortable queen-sized bed. The living area offers a shoji door that can be opened or closed for privacy, with a queen-sized sofa sleeper and dining set to complete the space. Complimentary high-speed internet and Wi-Fi mean visitors can stay connected during their visit. The fully-equipped kitchen offers everything necessary to prepare meals, while the lanai is a wonderful place to enjoy them.
The Hono Kai complex sits beachfront and offers panoramic views of the coastline and Haleakala. From the pool and beach, visitors can watch majestic humpback whales from December to April as they return to the area to birth and nurse their calves. On-site laundry facilities, lounge chairs, and barbecue stations – along with pristinely-maintained grounds – greet visitors during their stay. Haycraft Beach Park provides easy beach access at the end of the street, invitingly leading to a 2.5-mile stretch of sandy shoreline. To the west lies Ma’alaea Village, just a half-mile away, which features shopping, restaurants, the Maui Aquarium, and the boat harbor. One free parking spot per unit ensures visitors can easily come and go at their leisure.

MA’ALAEA BAY RENTALS RENTAL AGREEMENT
Booking Rules:
A credit card is required to guarantee a reservation.
As renters, you are responsible for damages caused by you or your guests; these include damages to the unit, items within the unit (including towels and linens), and to common areas. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if any occur.
If, upon arrival, you notice any damages to your unit, please notify us immediately to avoid possible liability.
Supplies:
Your unit is supplied with a starter kit which includes laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, tissues, and toilet tissue. Replace these on your own as you need them.
Your unit is also equipped with sufficient bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish towels and wash cloths.
For condos without in‐unit washer/dryers, please use the laundry facilities located at your particular resort.
Deposits/Cancellations
To confirm your stay, a non‐refundable deposit of $200 is due upon booking; and you are given the option to choose between either of the following:
1. $39.99 damage insurance (covering up to $3,000 of accidental damage)
2. $3,000 damage deposit (refunded 7‐10 business days after departure)
Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Cancellations made after initial deposit require a $200 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after final payment are non‐refundable.
We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through Generali. If you are interested, please inquire with us before your final payment is due.

Reservations that arrive during our Holiday Season (12/15 ‐ 01/05) require a $500 deposit, and
Final payment is due within the first week of October.
Cancellations for Holiday Season reservations made before final payment require a $500 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after final payment are non‐refundable.
We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through CSA Travel Protection. If you are interested, please inquire with us before your final payment is due.
Smoking:
All units are Non‐Smoking.
Designated smoking areas are available on all properties.
Any evidence of smoking within the unit or lanai area will result in charges, the minimum of which is $400.
Office Hours: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Monday – Friday.
Check In/Out:
Check‐In time is after 3:00 PM.
Check‐Out time is before 11:00 AM.
Late check‐outs are only available at the cost of a full night’s stay and must be arranged at the time of booking. Please contact Maalaea Bay Rentals at 1‐800‐367‐6084 or 808‐244‐5627 in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you.
