Overview
You are all set to explore the island at centrally located Makani A Kai #B-7 2nd floor, no elevator. It’s an easy commute to the West, South, North sides and all their sights and adventures. This condo has two modern split level A/C units; one in the master bedroom. A shoji-door divides the living-room and guest bedroom that the split level modern A/C can cool the area when the room dividing door is open. A two-bedroom, two bath unit with soaring ceilings, lots of light, and beach park and ocean views. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers, one bedroom has a king bed, one a queen, and with the sofa sleeper in the living room, there is room for up to 6 guests. On days you want to stay close to home base, you’ll have everything you need to make you feel at home: A/C, cable TV, high-speed internet, free WIFI, and a fully equipped kitchen that’s ready for your culinary skills. The resort’s grounds are beautifully maintained and include a pool, barbecue station, and plenty of lounge chairs; all of it ocean front. From your lanai and grounds, there’s much to see out in the bay: harbor boats, racing outriggers, kayaks, paddlers, and Humpback Whales in winter; they are spectacular with their blowing and their breaching, their slapping and their graceful gliding! It’s also fun to watch the surfers at Haycraft Beach Park next door. By the way, that’s where you can access the 2.5 mile stretch of sand known as Sugar Beach, it extends all the way down to North Kihei and is serenely uncrowded with uninterrupted views. MA’ALAEA BAY RENTALS RENTAL AGREEMENT
Booking Rules:
A credit card is required to guarantee a reservation.
As renters, you are responsible for damages caused by you or your guests; these include damages to the unit, items within the unit (including towels and linens), and to common areas. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if any occur.
If, upon arrival, you notice any damages to your unit, please notify us immediately to avoid possible liability.
Supplies:
Your unit is supplied with a starter kit which includes laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, tissues, and toilet tissue. Replace these on your own as you need them.
Your unit is also equipped with sufficient bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish towels and wash cloths.
For condos without in‐unit washer/dryers, please use the laundry facilities located at your particular resort.
Deposits/Cancellations
To confirm your stay, a non‐refundable deposit of $200 is due upon booking; and you are given the option to choose between either of the following:
1. $39.99 damage insurance (covering up to $3,000 of accidental damage)
2. $3,000 damage deposit (refunded 7‐10 business days after departure)
Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Cancellations made after initial deposit require a $200 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after final payment are non‐refundable.
We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through Generali. If you are interested, please inquire with us before your final payment is due.

Reservations that arrive during our Holiday Season (12/15 ‐ 01/05) require a $500 deposit, and
Final payment is due within the first week of October.
Cancellations for Holiday Season reservations made before final payment require a $500 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after final payment are non‐refundable.
We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through CSA Travel Protection. If you are interested, please inquire with us before your final payment is due.
Smoking:
All units are Non‐Smoking.
Designated smoking areas are available on all properties.
Any evidence of smoking within the unit or lanai area will result in charges, the minimum of which is $400.
Office Hours: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Monday – Friday.
Check In/Out:
Check‐In time is after 3:00 PM.
Check‐Out time is before 11:00 AM.
Late check‐outs are only available at the cost of a full night’s stay and must be arranged at the time of booking. Please contact Maalaea Bay Rentals at 1‐800‐367‐6084 or 808‐244‐5627 in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you.
